Empowering Communities, Transforming Lives: A.B.C. Sports Foundation's Impact Since 2019

By Ashley Danielle

A.B.C. Sports Foundation is honored to be the highlighted nonprofit organization through a new partnership with Kenect.  At Kenect, they go beyond building management. They are committed to inclusivity and community engagement and provide A.B.C. an environment where our events, such as Game Changers Sports Industry Night, and programs can flourish. Their support in helping us grow and insights on how athletes can utilize the space have been rewarding in just a short amount of time.

At A.B.C. Sports Foundation, our journey began in 2019 with a vision to bridge gaps and empower athletes to be catalysts for positive change in their communities. As a Nashville-based non-profit, we've evolved into a nationwide force, impacting the lives of youth and families through strategic initiatives that focus on health & wellness, mentorship, and arts & entertainment. Our three-pronged partnership model with athletes, businesses, and community organizations involves building relationships, connecting athletes with local non-profits, and providing grants and donations to athlete-founded organizations and organizations with sports initiatives.

Mission and Approach:

Our core mission is to empower athletes, collegiate, professional, and post career, with the resources to create a lasting impact in their communities. A.B.C. Sports Foundation serves as the connective thread between athletes, businesses, and community. We collaborate with athletes who have existing community efforts or create their nonprofits and manage their legacy through legal/tax compliance, programming, marketing, and events.

Three Pillars of Impact:

1. Health & Wellness:

  • We focus on activities such as summits, community events, and athletic camps that promote the mental and physical health and well-being of young people and adults.

2. Mentorship:

  • Athletes can build lasting relationships with our in-house mentorship programming. Mentorship focus areas include financial literacy, professional development, education, and civic engagement through the connective power of sports.

3. Arts & Entertainment:

  • In collaboration with our partners, we provide creative and professional development opportunities not only for the communities we serve, but also athletes who have interest in arts programming.

Collaborative partnerships with organizations like KultureCity, a3 Athletics and Transformation Life Center underscore our commitment to nationwide impact.
